When I was a boy
Boy I could run
Run to edge of the day until darkness comes
I’ll fly away
reach for a place
High Above the rains but listen
Stars will call your name
She’s my ride
She’ll be the first
She’ll be the rocket ship lift me from this earth
I am saved
Like a second birth
Above the ground I will rise rise rise
In A fiery burst
I can’t wait to hear the word ignition
Take me out
Take me outta here
I can’t wait to feel the engines burning
Take me outta here

Soon the stars will glisten
The clouds become the sea
The punishment of gravity
Will lose its grip on me
The radio is counting down
The tower sends their best
Fire burns beneath
And my hands are shaking
to the unknown
We must go
Slowly feel is rising
Feel my heart beat through my chest
The dream I dreamed a lifetime ago
Will surely be my test.
Burning through the atmosphere
The odds to us unknown
we Can't afford communication breakdown
Where did you go
Mission control
feel the darkness reaching out
See the clouds seem lower now
Every star is bowing down
Warning lights and panic
Start to eat away our souls
Then the gravity is finally releasing
Yeah The gravity has finally surrendered
Mission Control
Stage 2 is go

Broken Man

|

Lay the cards into the sand
I’ll show you a broken man
Don't get stuck inside a plan
Dreams die young in broken hands
Nation depends on me
Sea of tranquility
In darkness lies mystery
Commend our souls into the deep
This will be a victory
Progress humanity
Nation’s anxiety
Expectations weigh on me
Am I never enough?

Fate has ordained that the men who went to the moon to explore in peace will stay on the moon to rest in peace.
These brave men, Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin, know that there is no hope for their recovery. But they also know that there is hope for mankind in their sacrifice.
These two men are laying down their lives in mankind’s most noble goal: the search for truth and understanding.
They will be mourned by their families and friends; they will be mourned by their nation; they will be mourned by the people of the world; they will be mourned by a Mother Earth that dared send two of her sons into the unknown.
In their exploration, they stirred the people of the world to feel as one; in their sacrifice, they bind more tightly the brotherhood of man.
In ancient days, men looked at stars and saw their heroes in the constellations. In modern times, we do much the same, but our heroes are epic men of flesh and blood.
Others will follow, and surely find their way home. Man’s search will not be denied. But these men were the first, and they will remain the foremost in our hearts.
For every human being who looks up at the moon in the nights to come will know that there is some corner of another world that is forever mankind.

Cut Throat Finches Fort Worth, Texas
Songwriter Sean Russell, a proud resident of the Ft Worth music scene, formed the band mid-2015 with a group of much-lauded
players from the area, all of whom were involved in various projects of their own.
With the Finches, affection for eclectic music runs deep, as almost a proud obsession of the obscure, and their connection in the studio, blends together like a well-crafted adult beverage.
